Netrometer
The Netrometer is a handheld digital lensometer designed to measure the prescription of eyeglasses, including single vision and progressive lenses, in a compact and portable format. The goal was to simplify lens verification and make it more accessible outside of traditional clinical environments, supporting broader access to vision care.
The project focused on translating a traditionally stationary device into an intuitive handheld experience through iterative prototyping and ergonomic exploration. A key challenge was maintaining measurement accuracy while refining the form to reduce user error, manual operation, and repeatable results across varied settings.
